Mrs. Patricia Ann Martinez

Patricia “Patsy” Ann Martinez, beloved wife, mother, stepmother, step-grandmother and great step-grandmother, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 20, 2013, at the age of 61. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to parents Gilbert and Maria Socorro Leyva, on March 17, 1951. Patsy will always be remembered for the love and dedication she held for her family and she will be deeply missed. She was a breast cancer-survivor and a very special person that loved all animals, was an excellent cook, and generally loved to care for people. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Gilbert and Robert Leyva. Patsy is survived by her loving husband, Ricardo A. Martinez, daughter, Gena Benavides; stepdaughters, Melissa Luna (Rudy) and Melinda Martinez; grandchildren, Monique Luna, Stephanie Luna, Andrea Luna; great-grandchildren, Donica Rodriguez, Dominique Rodriguez, Makenzie Rodriguez, Malachi Rodriguez, Evan Gonzales, Antonio Price, Anthony Price, Andrew Price and A’yana Price; sister, Maria Theresa Ziehr (David); brothers, Anthony Leyva and Raymond Leyva; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N.
