Patricia Kelly Kelly Hazel

Patricia Kelly Hazel, age 90, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on September 27, 1921 in Miami, Florida to Thomas & Naomi Kelly. Pat is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe. Survivors include her children, Joe Jr. & wife, Cheryl of Omaha, NE, Chris of San Antonio, Michael & wife, Deborah of Phoenix, AZ, Kelly & wife, Melda of Washington, D.C., Ruth Andry & husband, Kirk of Cumming, GA; and Barry & wife, Sheryl of Dallas, TX; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandson. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. Memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church with Father Jim Barlow, celebrant. Services will conclude at the church. Pat will always be remembered for her love of animals and books, her sharp wit, her ability to turn a phrase and her lifelong love of Joe. The Hazel family wants to thank Pearl Gallegos, caretaker and longtime friend, Mom's dear friend Phyllis Jones, Irma Hendry of Granny's House, who helped mom walk the last mile and Christus Santa Rosa Hospice for all of the attention in this trying time.
