Oralia P. Portillo

Beloved mother and grandmother, Oralia Pena Portillo, entered into rest on July 3, 2018 at the age of 95. Oralia was born on September 2, 1922 in D'Hanis,Texas to Felix Pena and Gregoria Dias. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Portillo and son, Pedro Portillo, Jr. She was a singer in her husband's band, The Pedro Portillo Orchestra and Mariachi Guadalajara, which was formed in the late 1970's. She is survived by her daughter, Rosa Portillo Torres; sons, Antonio Portillo and wife, Betty; Luis Portillo and wife, Aurora; grandchildren, Rafael Portillo, Carlos Portillo, Javier Portillo, David L. Alvarado, Michelle Martinez, Juan Portillo, Alberto Portillo, Lorena Portillo, Elizabeth Portillo, Sara Portillo and Gustavo Portillo. The Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Paul's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
