Ophelia Rodriguez, age 88, passed away January 22, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on November 11, 1925 in Floresville, Texas to David and Fidelia Reyes. Ophelia was a homemaker and also worked for 20 years as a day care assistant. She was preceded in death by her husband Faustino Rodriguez Jr., and is survived by her children, Olga Diane Rodriguez, David R. Rodriguez and wife Evangelina, Daniel Rodriguez and wife Anna, Cynthia R. Rivera and husband Humberto; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Emma Fuentes and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road. A funeral service and viewing will be at 9:00 A.M. Friday, January 31, 2014 also at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery
