Nancy Contreras Villarreal, aged 63, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 11th at 12:19 am in San Antonio, TX. She was born November 19th, 1955 to Fred and Maria Elia Villarreal. Nancy graduated high school from John F. Kennedy High School in 1975. Nancy worked as a massage therapist, a career she truly loved. Nancy truly had a zeal for life, dancing into all hours of the night, loving her daughters and grandchildren whom she said were the biggest loves and joys in her life. Nancy loved to celebrate anything and everything, host parties, and invest in getting to know and love others. She fiercely loved and served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and would be found regularly reading her Bible, praying, ministering to others and singing in her church choir.
She is survived by her parents Fred and Maria Elia Villarreal, brothers and sister, Michael, Richard, Herman, James, Paul Villarreal, and Joe, Johnny Campos and Carol Ybarra, daughters, Jennifer Hilley and her family- husband Derek Hilley and children Lyndin (6) and Weston (4) Hilley as well as Crystal Burklo and her family- husband Jon Burklo and children Harrison (6) and Aila (4) Burklo, and her daughters' father and stepmother, Ray and Gloria Campos.
Family, friends and those she touched are welcome to honor Nancy's memory on Wednesday, February 13th from 4-8pm at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. There will be viewing from 4-6pm with a special praise and worship service led by her church choir starting at 6pm, followed by an open mic for the sharing of memories. On Thursday, February 14th at Shearer Hills Baptist Church a viewing from 8-8:30am will be held followed by a celebration of life service at 8:45 am. We will then proceed to internment at Hill Country Memorial Gardens in New Braunfels, Texas.
