Michael James Collins, age 77, passed away May 29, 2022 in San Antonio, TX. He was born in Dallas, TX on May 21, 1945 to his parents, Alvin and Janet Collins. He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran in the submarine force and a loving husband, father and friend who will be dearly missed. He was a retired salesperson who enjoyed spending time doing crossword puzzles in pen, reading books and playing with his dogs.
Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Susan B. Collins.
He is survived by his daughter, Katherine Collins, and his brother, Paul Collins.
The Visitation will be 12 noon, Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery (Shelter #1) with Navy Honors.
