Micaela Guzman

Micaela Mireles Guzman born on May 8, 1935 went to be with the Lord on October 26, 2019. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband James R. Guzman Sr.; her son Johnny Guzman Sr.; granddaughter Bianca Zapata and her parents Lorenzo and Angelita Mireles; also preceded in death by her siblings; Pauline Martinez, Lorenzo Mireles Jr., Felipe Mireles Sr. and Tony Mireles. She is survived by her children James Guzman Jr. (Sylvia), Alex Guzman (Diana), Carol Zapata (Elva), Rosemary Samarripas (Raul), Mary Annette Cantu (Ernesto); 17 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; daughter in law Luz Guzman; siblings Lydia Mireles, Luis Mireles, Rosemary Cordoba; numerous nieces and nephews and 4 legged companion Max. Micaela was a family oriented woman who enjoyed cooking and entertaining her guests. She always made everyone feel welcomed and at home. She will truly be missed by family and friends. A visitation will be on Tuesday November 5th, 2019 at Trevino funeral home on 226 Cupples rd. at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. On Wednesday November 6th there will be a chapel service at 9:45am. A funeral procession will depart to Fort Sam National Cemetery for interment after chapel service for an 11:00 am. interment.
