Melinda Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas entered eternal rest on July 4, 2022, at the age of 37. Melinda’s vibrant soul, enthusiasm and determined attitude forged the way to an extraordinary life. She loved wholeheartedly, worked hard, and traveled well.
Melinda studied in New York City and completed her undergraduate degree at Pace University. There she shined bright. Her hard work, tenacious work ethic and friendly demeanor steered her career into the nonprofit sector. She found great joy in helping The McCarton Center and McCarton Foundation prosper and gain financial growth. She spoke kindly and fondly of her colleagues and the children who went there.
She was like no other. She would light up a room with an energetic spirit. Her knowledge from pop-culture to world events was always on point. Land navigation was a skill she possessed, which helped navigate her way through many countries. She was an avid traveler, a person of the world.
Her smile was infectious and laugh joyous. The love she gave to her family and friends will leave an everlasting mark. She was always available to lend an ear. The calmness and outpouring of affection she showed to her nephew and niece melted hearts and was a perfect example of her beautiful soul. She will be immensely missed every hour of every day.
