Matias D. Arellano

Matias D. Arellano, beloved husband, father and grandfather, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 1, 2012, at the age of 70. He was born in Mexico, to parents Jose and Eulogia Velazquez, on February 24, 1941. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Matias was preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters, Emilia Elena Arellano and Maria Elena Arellano. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Arellano; children, Armando Arellano and his wife Maria Salinas, Alicia Arellano and her husband Martin Cardona, and Jorge Arellano and his wife April Arellano; grandchildren, Armando and Eduardo Arellano, and Brenda, Michael, Joann and Dulce Cardona; great-grandchildren, Rudy, Alessandra and Brianna Cardona. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2012, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, January 7, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 1202 S.
