Mary E. Sweeney

Mary E. Sweeney, born on October 31, 1930, was called to be with the Lord on May 25, 2018 at the age of 87. She was a devout member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Von Ormy, TX. After many years at Alamo Paint & Wallpaper, she then retired after 30yrs at Southwest ISD. She is survived by her husband of 64yrs, James M. Sweeney Jr.; children, Cindy, James and Laura; grandchildren, Jessica Barrera (Julian), James Sweeney (Pam), Jillian Sweeney and their mother, Linda Sweeney; great-grandson, Austin Grey. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Von Ormy, TX.
