Martha J. Cantu

Martha Jane Cantu, born on July 4, 1971 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with The Lord on April 16, 2022 at the age of 50. She enjoyed scrapbooking, writing poetry and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Janie Belmudez Cantu; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Marciana Belmudez; paternal grandparents, Samuel Cantu Sr., and Petra Orozco; also, numerous aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her father Samuel Cantu Jr.; brother, Samuel Cantu III; sisters, Helen Cantu, Sylvia Cantu, Rachel C. Perez; nieces and nephews, April Cantu, Stephanie Cantu, Janice Cantu, Bernice Ramos, Samantha Perez, Alexander Mo Paz, Diego Perez, Mila Cantu; also, other numerous family and friends.

The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited that evening at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 314 Merida St., San Antonio, TX 78207. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237.
