In loving memory of Maria Ramos, or better known by her friends and family as San Juana or Janie. Maria was born on September 11, 1950 to Lorenzo and Celia Narvaez. She went to be with The Lord on July 4, 2021 while in the comfort of her home, with her children at her bedside. Maria was the youngest daughter of five children, Carlos, David, Samuel and Ester. She is survived by her children, Melissa, Celia, and Arturo, her grandchildren, Risa and Ava. Her wisdom will live through everyone she met and her legacy, which was to love, be strong in our faith, work hard and take care of those you love the most. She frequently spoke of her childhood memories: Summers in Ohio and growing up with her cousins in the homes of her aunts and uncles. She also enjoyed many outing with the Madrians, as well as the countless adventures of her with her granddaughters. Maria was what most would call strong willed and dedicated. You know you were loved by her if you were fortunate enough to receive her baked goods. She was a true servant of the Lord, leading by example and now her soul will rest in his everlasting embrace. Maria will live in our hearts and memories; forever gone, but not forgotten. A reception in honor of Maria San Juana will be Ma Harper’s Creole Kitchen, 1816 N. New Braunfels Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78208 Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. The Memorial Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. Services will conclude in the chapel.
