Manuel L Sanchez went to be with the Lord, March 31, 2013 at the age of 74. He is preceded in death by his parents Manuel & Margarita Sanchez; Sisters Betty Jean & Mary Alice and brother Federico. Mr. Sanchez is survived by his wife of 51 years, Estella V. Sanchez; daughter Lydia Delgado (Gilbert); sons Manuel Sanchez III (Patricia); Michael Sanchez (Mary Jane); grandchildren Nicholas, Amber, Alec, Lauren, Giovanni, Gilbert; sisters Lupe, Diana, Frances, Annie; brothers Ernest, Roman, John, Milton and Jimmy. Mr. Sanchez retired from the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department after 41 years of faithful service. A visitation will begin Wednesday, April 3, 2013, 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
