MAJOR Charles F. Denison, Jr., U.S. Marine Corps (Ret.) age 87, passed away peacefully September 23, 2015 in San Antonio, TX. He was born in New Haven, CT to Janet & Charles F. Denison, Sr. He proudly served his country as a United States Marine for over 30 years.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; 1 sister; 1st wife Arlene; his beloved English bulldog “Buckshot”; and many other friends & pets who were so dear to his heart.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patty; 5 sons, Charles (Dian), Robert, Gary (Tammy), Stephen (Kim) and Craig (Mary); 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many others who were very dear to him including Betty, Eric, Lucian & family, Bitsy & family.
Graveside Service will be 11:15 a.m., Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors. Reception to follow at The Towers on Park Lane, San Antonio, TX. Condolences may be offered at www.sunsetfuneralhomesa.com.
