She was born in Scottsboro, AL and was the oldest of seven siblings. Lucille was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time traveling with her family, especially her weekend getaways with her husband. Her hobbies included crocheting, quilting, and taking care of her many plants.
She is preceded in death by John Ellis Sanders, her loving husband of 67 years. She is survived by her sister, Stella Galloway; six sons, Mike (Ruth), Dale, Gene (Sue), Billy (Tracy), Jimmy (Tammy), and Danny; three daughters, Yvonne, Patty (Louis) and Susan as well as 24 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.
She will be missed and forever loved.
