Lorraine Amelia Garcia passed away on January 2, 2018 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 89. She was born on June 4, 1928 to Louis A. and Eva Schmidt in St. Louis, MO. She is preceded in death by her former husband’s Ernie Cummings and Johnny Garcia, daughter: Susan P. Crank and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving son Steven Cummings (Lisa); grandchildren: Ryan Cummings, Robbie Cummings (Crystal), great grandchildren: Ethan, Avery, Colbie, Seren and other loving family members and friends.
She was a loving and supporting mother who loved to travel and loved to hear her son play in his band. She loved family dearly so much that she moved in San Antonio, in 2001 to be closer to her loving grandchildren. She loved to make ornaments, wreaths, and bracelets and other crafting hobbies.
A Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 11am at Sunset Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will begin at 12pm at the Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
