My sincere condolences to all who loved Kyle. His sister, Donna, and I were friends growing up and I have many happy memories in their home.

No matter how much time goes by, I still think of Kyle, giving advice and making sure you were okay

It will be Father's Day soon the 💐 are bought. They are beautiful and they will be out their soon. Instead of a belt , a shirt, a silly card, a wallet, sunglasses, or houses shoes or a robe. I look at the pictures and the wonderful things that everyone has written about you. I miss you so much. We had our problems. But we had a lot of happy times.  In all of the pictures after we had Nicole and Brittney you were always around children. You couldn't have been any better to me and Nicole and Brittney. Although we had our problems the love and caring was always their. We had a lot of fun together. And a lot of fun with the kids. It has been 2 and 1/2 months. And they have been long.  Mom will be gone 3 years next Saturday. We would have went to Sunset this week. But you are up their with her. And with your mommy, daddy, and my daddy and friends. You are with the angels and I can see you riding free on that Harley. I miss your phone calls 2 or 3 times a day. You are missed by so many people. But most of all your family. I know things will get easier for all of us in time. But you will never be forgotten by anyone. I really miss you Kyle. A day doesn't go by that I cry and think about you. My father was a wonderful man,he loved both me and my sister unconditionally he lived his entire life for me and her from the minute we born. He love his motorcycle even when were were little I remember being a baby sitting on his harley while he reved the engine it was the loudest thing I had ever heard at least he doing something he loved

Kyle's Eulogy (part 2)

Kyle was a devoted, generous father.  The happiest time of his life was when he got married, bought his first house and had 2 beautiful daughters.  He was devoted to his family, to his two girls.  We were so proud of him!

He loved our family gatherings.  It was our chance to spend time together catching up and eating some of our family recipes-old and new.   Thanksgiving, he would pile it on.  He never worried about his food touching.  We use to laugh at him because his plate was overflowing.  He didn’t want to miss a serving

After Kyle passed, we went to his house.  We could see the love he had for each and every family member.  Pictures were on his refrigerator, pictures all throughout the house, pictures on his dresser, his night stand, posted on his wall, all over.  Past and present memories!  Pictures were on his wall of Harleys.  He rekindled his love for motorcycles last March.  He was soooo excited!  While his death was tragic, he was doing what he loved…Riding.

When you lose someone so special from your life, like Kyle, it’s incredibly comforting to see the out-pouring love and reading the stories of how Kyle truly made a difference in people’s lives.  He was kind, generous, funny, caring, and devoted to his family and co-workers.  And, he was LOVED.  Thank you for sharing your memories posted on this site.  They have been comforting during this difficult time.

                                                 Kyle’s Eulogy (part 1)

Thank you all for coming today to honor and celebrate Kyle.  My name is Donna, I’m the youngest of 3 kids. Because I’m the youngest, I’ve never known a time Kyle hasn’t been a part of my life.  Growing up, Kyle was a typical energetic little boy and loved to play pranks.  He and Sharon (our older sister), grew up close together playing outside and climbing trees.  The 2 stories I heard the most growing up were:   When Kyle was 4 years old, he climbed a tree and would pee on Sharon from up above (and sometimes he’d get mom).  When I was born, Kyle was no longer the baby of the family and he didn’t like that, at first.  He wanted to sell me for 5 squirrels to our neighbor.    

Fast forward to his teenage-years, Kyle loved cars, motorcycles and rock n’ roll.  As he came into his twenties, Kyle began to settle down.  I have special memories of us going to church and afterwards visiting Daddy at Schumann's Ice & Food (on East Houston street).  We were confirmed and baptized together.  God promises:  Jesus is the resurrection and the life.  He who believes in me will live, even though he dies.  John 11:25. With this promise, Kyle is in heaven.  I believe he’s riding free on his Harley motorcycle, singing rock-n-roll with the angles and celebrating with the family that has gone before him.

Kyle loved his family.  He was devoted to his family.  As we fast forward a little farther into his life, he had great job working for the District Attorney’s office.  He later joined the family business in the medical billing industry.  As long as I can remember, Kyle has worked.  For the last 15 years, Kyle worked 2 jobs.  He joined the Wal-Mart family, and I don’t think he ever missed a day of work.  He has a box full of Walmart Perfect Attendance Awards…year-after-year.   


Kyle is my amazingly kind and generous grandfather.I remember going to Splash Town all the time when I was younger, he loved to spend time with me. We  were really close, he was there when I was born, and was always here for me. I loved him more than words can describe. He loved and truly cared for everyone in the family. When anyone needed anything he was there to help. His death was sudden and unexpected, I'm glad that he died doing something he loved. Love you forever and always, you are greatly missed.

Our sincere condolences to the entire Perry family. We are sorry for the loss of your kind hearted loving, Kyle. He was nothing but wonderful and loving to our shared grandson.  His grandson, Ryan, will miss him for eternity.  We shall caring on loving that sweet, kind, loving little boy for you, Kyle.  May you rest in eternal peace with our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Our family received this sweet memory of Kyle and wanted to share...

I was one of Kyle's co-workers at Walmart.   He also worked with my stepdad at Star. He was truly a unforgettable person and I’m soo sorry for your loss. My heart aches for your family. Kyle was like a long lost grandpa to my kids, I started Walmart back in 2010 at 18 years old I had no kids, Today I'm 28 with two kids and Kyle saw them at least twice a week! They already knew where to look for him cause he gave them “free” lollipops LoL. When I found out I was in tears cause I know one day my kids will look for him and I’ll have to explain how God gained an angel.  He will truly be missed by many.

Every time we saw Papa, we exploded with happiness!  He always tried to make everyone happy.  It was really sad for us to hear that he passed away, but we know he is in the best place and with Jesus.

Kyle Perry was a loving husband and loving father.  He loved his family.  He was a goodhearted person and had a free spirit.  Unfortunately the Lord decided to take him at a young age.  He loved working and never missed a day.  He loved riding his motorcycle.  He loved being around people.  He loved family gatherings.  He tried to help people as much as he could.  He loved going to the beach.  He loved going on his bike to NE preserves which is now McAllister Park.  When I was 17 we would ride to Canyon Lake on his bike and one day Donna saw us and spilled the beans that she saw him on the motorcycle that he was trying to hide from Memamaw.  Memamaw didn't even know he had a girlfriend or much less a Harley.  I don't know what was said but I wouldn't have wanted to be there.  But what are little sisters for.  He was well known in the medical community and on the Eastside.  We would ride horses on the eastside.  He cherished life.  He loved music especially hard rock.  But liked country too.  No one would buy Michelle hard rock but he would.  He loved to eat.  He will be greatly missed and cherished by all.

I'm not entirely sure what to say.. Kyle was one of the greatest men I ever had the pleasure to know. His only concerns in this world was making sure his family had what they needed. He taught me so much about family in the time that I knew him. Forgiveness, trust, faith, how not to worry so much about the little things.. Most of all, he taught me how to relax.
Well, Kyle, you're up there now. Ride fast, ride free, wide smile, and keep the throttle wide open.

Kyle always had a smile on his face and was so kind. He worked with my mother when she was employed with walmart that is how we became acquaintances. He loved seeing my girls and always expressed how beautiful they were and how fast they were growing. Always sharing stories of his grandkids and you can see how it brightened his day by talking about them and how much he loved them. He will be truly missed by family and friends and the community. May you rest in peace my friend. Till we meet again

I enjoyed working with Kyle each and everyday, we shared so many stories and laughed everyday. I worked with one of his daughters before also, he was a great father to his kids and a family man. Still can not believe that he is gone, he will be missed.

I met Kyle about 5 years ago at Walmart I was a customer an he was always so nice an funny he would go out of his way to help me out every time we came in when we saw this me an my daughter we cried because this was terrible news to see an here my prayers are with the family 

Thank you Mr.Kyle for being so kind and showing me what it's like to have a genuine friend. Every time I saw you, you'd ask if I had a husband yet, of course I'd laugh and say no every time but you always had the same reply, "A young lady like you is too pretty to not be married, I'm gonna find you a husband." You seemed to shed light on any dark day with your charisma and jokes. Thank you for existing and making a positive impact on our community. We love you Kyle, please rest in Paradise.

kyle was one of the most caring, funniest & loving people at walmart. He was the first person to teach me stuff about the self check out. i’m gonna miss looking over and seeing him in his spot , it’s not gonna be same without him. Always seeing him when i leave on sunday’s i wish i could talk to him one last time .

he's always been the easiest person to talk to, like an old friend even if you'd only known him a few months.

Kyle was one of the most genuinely funny, happy, and easy going guys I've ever known . Meeting him as a pregnant 19 year old cashier in 2010 was definitely something I'll never forget. Kyle and I always joked around and made our work days faster. I always told him he sounded like Al Pacino and he always laughed. We worked together for 6 years, and even after I left I always saw him when I went in and my kids and I always gave him a hug and would talk for a bit.  I'm devastated by this tragedy, but I know he's in a better place. Rest easy Kyle, we all love you.

Kyle was one of the sweetest souls I ever came across working at Walmart, I remember when I first started working as an cashier and passing him up by self check out I'll never forget how he used to great me . "Hey man you coming over to help me out " I'd tell him I'll try Kyle you know they be tripping lol and when I would go over we'd have a ball. It was never a full moment with Kyle ... I'd seen him literally 2 days before he passed and I made sure to give him a nice big hug ...I wish I could go back to that day . Rest in heaven you'll live forever in my heart it's not gonna be the same at Walmart without you 💔

I worked with Kyle since 2017, he was the one who taught me all that I know at the self checkout. I always had his back & he always had mine working in that crazy area! After moving departments I still made my way over there to speak with him; it felt great to check up & see how he was doing & even when leaving always made sure I told him bye. I’ll miss our quick catch up talks & cherish our memories. 
Rest in peace to a great man, my friend, Kyle! 

In the short time I worked at Walmart knowing Kyle he was a very kind and helping associate and friend.
I would see him all the time coming into work I would stop by he’s area and say “hey Kyle what’s up” almost everyday I saw him there working he’s shifts .
During breaks or lunches I’d stop by and have little conversations with Kyle. he was a hard working associate , but sometimes he was to busy to talk or he would just be caught up with his customers .
Whenever I could I would go and talk to him ask how his day was going , or ask about lunch and what he had to eat that day.
At the end of the night when my shifts were over, I’d stop by to see Kyle still working, I’d go to purchase a few things I had and before leaving to go home , id tell Kyle “goodnight , drive home safe” he’d smile and say “you too Ellie “ Id reply with  “I will” waving back at him. 
Kyle was a one of a kind happy person, even on he’s busy days he was never upset nor mad he was never rude never mean , he was always calm and had a smile on his face .
If “associate of the year“award was a real thing at work I’d pick kyle for every running for that award, a person like him who was always Friendly who was ready to help and always cared for others around him . People like that are hard to find these days, you don’t get a lot of hard working people like that around you with that kind of positive heart felt personality.

I had the pleasure of working with Kyle for 1 year at Walmart, will always be making me laugh and from having a bad day to a good one. You will be missed

I had the pleasure of working with Kyle for 7 years at Walmart. He was such a great and friendly person and always in a good mood. Even after I stopped working there,we would have small conversations when I was in the store.  I'm gonna miss seeing that sweet smile and I'm gonna miss the hello's when I walked in and the goodbye's when I was leaving. Walmart won't be the same without him there. You will be dearly missed.

No matter what happened in his life good or bad Kyle always loved his family with all of his heart. We are deeply saddened to lose that love but will have the memories forever. We love you Uncle Kyle. Now you can rest without worry. 

I worked with Kyle for 13 years. He was a very sweet person. I would always see him as I would leave for day and he would always greet me and tell me bye for day. Or when I would run in to get something at night. I would see him and he always had a big smile on his face. You will be missed my friend and will always be apart of our 3279 Walmart Family.

We both worked with Kyle at Wal-Mart for 13 years.  All of us still can't believe he's gone.  We still call the area he wored at Kyles area now it's just the bullpen... I used to work with Kyle at Walmart on Rigsby back in 2010.  We would talk all the time at work; and  even after I left Walmart when I would go into the store.  He was a very nice man and will be missed.
