Kristy Lee Abrego

Kristy Lee Abrego of San Antonio, Texas passed away at the age of 40 on Thursday, April 13, 2023. She was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on August 13, 1982 to Kenneth Edward Jr. and Tracy Ann (Soltes) Tall.

Left behind to cherish Kristy's memory is her daughter, Stella Grace Abrego of San Antonio, TX; mother, Tracy Ann Soltes Tall of Fairfield, Connecticut; fiance, Edward Wezowicz; uncles, Mark Soltes of CO and Edward Tall of CT; aunts, Barbara White of NC, and Ann Marie Tall of CT; as well as a host of cousins.

Kristy meets in Heaven her father, Kenneth Edward Tall Jr.; maternal grandparents, William Soltes and Constance Soltes; paternal grandparents, Mary Lou Tall and Kenneth Edward Tall Sr; and uncles, Danny Tall and Michael Tall Sr.

Kristy graduated from Fairfield High School in Bridgeport Connecticut and went on to achieve her associate degree from Housatonic College in 2009 majoring in graphic design.

Kristy had an array of hobbies including crafting with her daughter, reading, and decorating. She especially liked to decorate for the holidays and would love celebrating with her family. Kristy enjoyed cooking for her family and trying new recipes, and loved spending time with her fiance and their two dogs, Lexi and Rex. Kristy also had an amazing sense of fashion and was passionate about fitness.

Kristy stood out in life for her beautiful blue eyes, hair, and warm, welcoming smile that would beam like sunlight. She had a happy laugh and was dedicated to prioritizing her daughter, Stella.

Kristy will be remembered for the love she had for her family, always being there for her daughter, and for always being there when you needed her.

A funeral mass will be held for Kristy on May 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd, Fairfield, CT 06825.
