Kevin was born on June 24, 1968, in Silverton, Oregon and spent time living in California, Guam, and San Antonio. Kevin proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 4 years. After departing the Air Force, Kevin began his 24 year career with Union Pacific as a Locomotive Engineer. Kevin married his wife, Trisha, on April 14, 1998 and together they had two daughters, Shelby and Ava.
Kevin had a passion for music and gaming and was also active in the No Agenda podcast community where he was known as Sir Double Tap. He often attended cosplay conventions with his daughter, Ava, and enjoyed watching his daughter, Shelby, at her dance performances. Kevin and his wife, Trisha, renewed a focus together on fitness and health through their Peloton community where they were both very active. Known by his family and friends as vocally passionate, supportive, dependable, and kind, Kevin will be dearly missed by all who know him.
Kevin is proceeded in death by his brother-in-law, Robert Hart. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Trisha; his two daughters, Shelby and Ava; his brother, Eric Roa and wife, Jennifer; his mother-in-law, Mary Hart and partner, Wayne King; his sister-in-law, Rena Jones and husband, Jim; his sister-in-law, Stacey DuGosh and husband, Edward Jr.; his brother-in-law, Sean Hart; and six nephews.
Two services will be held for Kevin. On April 19, 2022, a Celebration of Life will be held from 5 - 7 pm at Sunset North Funeral Home: 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232. A Military Funeral Honors Ceremony will be held on April 20, 2022, at 9:45 am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Shelter #5.
