Kenneth Lee Loerwald, age 86, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Dallas, Texas on February 14, 1930 to John and Annie Loerwwald. Ken retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of dedicated service, as well as serving in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marines. He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Loerwald. Ken is survived by his brother-in Law, Frank Dunn Jr. and his wife Sharen; sister-in-law, Gloria Baldree and host of friends. Visitation will be at Crossroads Baptist Church, 8300 Tezel Road, San Antonio, Texas 78250 on Monday, May 23, 2016 beginning at 11:30 A.M. with funeral services at 12:30 P.M. Officiating clergy will be Rev. Douglas A. Diehl. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with U.S. Air Force military honors .
