Julia Cano Lucio, a loving and devoted mother and wife, entered into rest on March 19, 2015. She was very family oriented. She also enjoyed going fishing with her family and playing bingo. She was a member of San Martin de Porres Catholic Church for many years and also sang in the choir. Her personality was very distinct and many will remember her greatest dish, beans with chorizo. She was so lovable and will be missed dearly. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband: Blas V. Lucio and great-grandson, Joshua Ray. She is survived by 3 children: Mary Helen Barboza, Roger (Janette Martinez) Lucio, and Philip (Janie) Lucio; 12 grandchildren: John, Angela, Michael, Philip, Perry, Brandon, Rene, Jessica, Roger Jr., Eric, Victoria, Basillio Blas; 15 great-grandchildren: Naomi, Nicholas, Perry Jr., Noah, Izabella, Brody, Liam, Joslyn, Layla, Joseph, Austin, Abigail, Araceli, Devon, and numerous relatives and friends.A visitation will begin on Monday, March 23, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd, 5:00 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7:00PM that same evening. A funeral procession will depart on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM for a 11:30 AM Mass to be celebrated at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery 2.
