Judy G. Brown, age 68, passed away January 23 2014. She was born on May 3, 1945 in Monroe, Lousiana to Sidney and Mary Gill. She is survived by her husband Jay B. Brown; a son, Jim Rabun of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Mary K. Oglesby of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Jade, Jordan and Rabun Oglesby; brother, Bobby Gill of Columbia, South Carolina. Judy graduated from Northeast Louisiana University at the age of 40 with a degree in Pharmacy and retired in 2010.She loved her family, RVing, and hunted with her husband all over the world. Africa and South Dakota were here favorite destinations. She was always the life of the party.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road. In lieu of flowers, because Judy was a breast cancer survivor, please send donations to The Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer.
