She stayed several months with her daughter, Rebecca, and family, living in Michigan, Mexico, Brazil, and Venezuela. “Mi casa es su casa” was one of her mottos and she kindly opened her home for months to several family members throughout the years.
Judith met Pedro V Hernandez through his sisters, Cristina and Enriqueta Hernandez. They were married on September 16, 1952 in Laredo, Texas. Together they raised 5 children: Sara Jane Hernandez (6-12/1953), Teresa Hernandez, Pedro Hernandez Jr, Ricardo Hernandez, and Rebecca Crispino.
