And this day, Jesus said “You shall be with me in Paradise.” Juan E. Vasquez was born on March 29, 1925 in Okiland, Texas to Francisco and Tomasa Esquivel Vasquez. He is preceded in death by his parents and his children; Lucio Flores, Leonor Acuna and Juan Vasquez Jr; Brothers, Jose Luis, Fidel, Ramon and Francisco Vasquez; Sisters, Anita Lozano, Luz Guerrero and Petra Martinez. Juan is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary Lou Vasquez; Sister, Maria Serda Martinez; Son, Lucio M. Vasquez; Daughters Rachel V. Solis and Alicia Flores Lucio; Step Children, Cynthia A. Sanchez, Rudy Hernandez Jr, Patricia I. Hernandez; Numerous Grandchildren and Great grandchildren. He was a loving husband and father and will be missed by so many.
SERVICES
Viewing will be held Monday, January 25, 2016, 5:00pm - 9:00pm, Rosary recited at 7:00pm at Trevino Funeral Home. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 8:30am for a 9:00am Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery.
