Joshua graduated from St. Mary's University with a B.B.A degree in Management Information Systems and was a member of the Chi Phi Fraternity. He was employed as an HR Analyst at USAA and volunteered as a Big Brother in the Big Brother/Big Sister Program.
Joshua was preceded in death by his father, Claude Lee, and his maternal grandparents, Hermelinda Perez de Rojas and Carlos Rojas Alfonso. Joshua is survived by his loving wife, Valerie and their children, Joshua Isaiah, Isabella Yasmin, and Caleb Alejandro; his mother, Arlene Rojas; father and mother-in-law, Michael and Sara Martinez; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Juan and Michele Flores and Michael and Megan Martinez; nieces, Janae and Madeleine; godson, Jake and other relatives.
Joshua lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed everything from reading a good book to playing any kind of sport. His favorite pastime, though, was spending time with his children. He would take them to Sea World/Aquatica, First Friday, movie nights at the park, soccer games, and lots of birthday parties. Joshua was a devoted father - his kids were his world. He was a loving husband and great friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive guests from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, August 15, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers for Celebratory Eulogy being held at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 16, 2014, in the Guadalupe Chapel at St. Mary's University.
