Joshua Salomon Longoria

Joshua Salomon Longoria, born April 17, 1993 went to be with our Lord on July 15, 2018 at the age of 25. He was preceded in death by great grandparents, Manuel & Elida Reyes, Oscar & Alicia Salomon; grandmother, Leonora Dehoyos; great uncle, Norman A. Salomon and uncle, Jesse D. Martinez. He is survived by his mother, Laura Longoria; supportive and loving friend, Gilbert Rocha, Jr. father, Joe C. Longoria; grandparents, Arturo & Maria “Ludy” Salomon; fiancé, Ashley Lindholm; siblings, Joe Longoria, Kristy Grosso (Rick), Erik Longoria (Jahda); aunts & uncles, Doreen, Art (Janie), Paul (Reyna), Lisa; niece & nephew, Taylor & Caleb; cousins, Richard, Alexx, Robert, Gwen, Abigail, Cameron, Ryan, Nadia and Lance; best of friends, Andrew, Jose, John and Joshua and beloved pets & best friends, Ace and Bella Longoria.

Joshua is also survived by an additional and amazing extension of family members, his wonderful friends at SAHA, his friends in Dallas, TX and in Jourdanton, TX. He was immensely blessed with love the day he was born, throughout his illness and until his last breath. His family and friends made sure he wanted for nothing and had all he needed. The once quiet and shy boy who spoke few words, grew into the most courageous, faithful, humorous and incredible young man who had a countenance of God’s love. His valor and undeniable strength helped him win his battle and gain the ultimate victory at the right hand of our Father in Heaven. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at San Fernando II Cemetery.
