Jose Lopez Ybarra, born on November 1, 1923 in San Antonio, Texas was called to be with our Lord on August 8, 2017 at the age of 93. He is preceded in death by his wife, Julia Reyes Ybarra; brothers, Antonio and Alfonso; sisters, Ramona, Luisa, Jova, Juanita and Soledad. He is survived by his children, Raul Hernandez (Eva), Gregorio Ybarra (Linda), Robert Reyes Ybarra, Sylvia Y. Galvan (Tomas) and Samuel Ybarra (Veronica); 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; brothers, Amado, Alcario and Daniel Ybarra; sisters, Concha and Rosemary. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Joseph (So. San) Catholic Church, 535 New Laredo Hwy. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2.
