Mr. Jose V. Salazar, born March 19, 1932, in Dilley, TX, went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Theresa G. Salazar; sister, Elisa S. Lozano; children, Jose Salazar III, Cynthia S. Campos, Diana S. Garcia, Jeffrey Salazar, Debra Jean Salazar, Luz Salazar; stepsons; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Thursay, July 10, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers for a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 8:30 a.m., Friday, July 11, 2014 to celebrate a 9:00 a.m. Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2623 Perez St. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
