Johnny S. Valdez Jr. born on July 1, 1944 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with our Lord on May 13, 2017 at the age of 73. He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Valdez and Janie Navarro; wife, Mary Valdez; brother, Dario Navarro. He is survived by his children, Gloria Lizarde (Guillermo), Veronica Ann Luna (Elijio Luna), Christina Valdez, Stella Valdez and Mary Lou Navarro; grandchildren, John Lizarde, Ariana Lizarde, Elias Lizarde, Gabriela Lizarde, Jeremy Luna, Amanda Luna, Amber Luna, Justin Valdez, Brandon Cortez, Alex Valdez, Brianna Alvarado, Zeverae Ayala, Kane Ayala, Aza Ayala, Mystique Ayala; great grandchildren, Nicholas Lizarde and Jazmine Lizarde; sister, Teresa; also, numerous nieces and nephews. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, Mary 23, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. for a 12:30 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
