John Edward Quintero went to be with our Lord on April 8, 2017, at the age of 50. He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Talamantez Quintero. John graduated from Burbank High School. He is survived by his father, Domingo G. Quintero, siblings, Anthony C. Quintero, Linda A. Davila, Phillip D. Quintero, Ronald J. Quintero, Carol M. Ortiz, Jerry S. Quintero, Emma J. Quintero, and his two dearly beloved dogs Dahlia and Pia. John had a great passion for abstract painting and enjoyed creating very large art pieces. He was also an extraordinary repairman who was able to identify the problem and fix anything that came his way.
God saw he was getting tired and the cure was not to be so He put his arms around him and whispered, “Come with Me”.
A visitation will be held Monday, April 17, 2017, at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at St. Timothy Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at San Fernando III Cemetery.
