John Wayne Crawford, of San Antonio, Texas. formerly of Novi and West Branch, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020. John was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to Morden H. and Mary E. Crawford, on April 16, 1941. John is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Crawford, sons Michael Crawford (Michelle), Mark Crawford, (Julie) and David Crawford (Tracy). Grandchildren: Jennifer Johnston.(Wes) Kyle Crawford, Mikayla Crawford , Lauren Muhlenfeld ,Great-Granddaughter, Olivia Johnston and special niece, Lindsay Syswerda.
John is also survived by brothers-in-law, Robert Burkowski,(Mary), Stanley Burkowski (Pattty) and Dennis Murray (Marian, dec'd)..Also, nephews, Stephen Murray and Terry Burkowski, Nieces, Tammy Burkowski and Suzan Hughes.
John was an avid sailor and boater, and loved being on or around water. His interests also included The History of World War II and his love of animals; John was preceded in death by: father, Morden H. Crawford, mother, Mary Garton Crawford, and sister, Joan Crawford.
