Thanks to Joe being at work was a lot more fun than work but when things got bad he was the man to have around. The ER will not to the same with out him. I will miss him dearly. May prayers and best wishes go out to his family.

Sending our deepest sympathy to the Scott family and especially to our beloved Mr. Connor Scott. Unfortunately we've never gotten to know Joe, but having the opportunity to know, love and watch his eldest son Connor, grow into manhood brings us that much closer to knowing who Joe really was. Actually, we could have gotten to know Joe more if I really LEFT Connor at the gas station in the middle of nowhere 7  years ago when Connor joined us on a trip to South Padre Island! It was a little trick 4 boys played on me as the driver. Nothing like leaving the neighbor kid behind!  It's the "where is Connor" story! I can laugh now but Joe and I could have been REAL close at one time. Fortunately I brought his son home from the trip and missed my ideal time! LOL
Joe hung the moon for Connor and gave him his greatest gift of all, his name. Such an honor! . We love you Connor and we are here for you... And as always, there's plenty of hugs here too!

I had the privelege of knowing Joe when he first started at NCBH, then as he pursued his nursing degree while continuing his dedication to his family and the patients of NCBH.  His journey has been a true inspiration.  He took every challenge in stride with a positive outlook.  Knowing him has been a gift I will treasure.

We had so much fun at the lake for so many summers.  I am so truly sorry that he is gone but his memory will definitely be embedded forever.
