Joe met his wonderful wife Mary while attending Lanier High School. Shortly after graduating high school, the two got married in 1974 and welcomed their first child. Joe was known to many as being the life of the party as he loved to joke around with his friends and family.
Joe worked for over 27 years at Levi printing and fixing pant patterns for cutting. After his retirement from Levi, Joe started work at Avanzar Interior Technologies. He started as the company started in San Antonio and left after 17 hardworking years. When Joe wasn't working hard, he was often found in the backyard barbecuing all types of food. Joe kept himself busy with many hobbies. He was a simple man who just wanted to fish and hunt. As much as Joe loved being outdoors, he also loved being inside and watching his sports. Joe was a big fan of our local Spurs team and The Dallas Cowboys.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Faustino Sanchez; brother, Jimbo Sanchez; and his beloved son Jonathan Sanchez.
He is survived by his wonderful wife Mary M. Sanchez; children, Joe Sanchez Jr. (Christina), and Eric Sanchez; grandchildren, Jonathan Sanchez, Timothy Sanchez (Katie), Austin Sanchez, Noah Sanchez, Aiden Sanchez, Nathan Sanchez, Eric Sanchez (Brianna). Great-Grandchild, Aurora Rose Sanchez; siblings, Roman (Dora), Johnny (Dale) Daniel (Patricia), Patty, Paula (Abel) Priscila, Tommie (Tony).
