Jesus De Leon, a beloved husband, father, and friend, devoted Christian, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2024, at the age of 68. He was known by all who met him for his kind heart, work ethic, and zest for life. Jesus was a true “jack of all trades.” He had a deep love for working with his hands, and his workshop was his domain. Whether it was fixing a car, tinkering with an engine, or building something from scratch, he could always be counted on to lend a helping hand. His expertise as a diesel mechanic and truck driver spanned decades, and his reputation for getting the job done right was unmatched. In his free time, Jesus enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—fishing, spending time outdoors, and gathering with friends and family. He had a heart as big as his sweet tooth, he found joy in the sweeter things in life. His love for good food extended beyond sweets—he was a true master of the BBQ, delighting family and friends with delicious meals and unforgettable gatherings. A music lover at heart, Jesus found joy in listening to his favorite Tejano tunes and dancing to the rhythm of life. His enthusiasm and infectious energy made every gathering a memorable one. Above all, Jesus was a devoted father who cherished his children more than anything. His love for them was unwavering, and he took great pride in watching them grow. He was also a faithful servant of Christ, living his life with grace, humility, and a strong belief in the power of love and kindness.
He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and a life well-lived. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him but his spirit will live on in every catch phrase, every song played, every BBQ, and every smile.
