Jere Lee Chandler, age 87, passed away August 26, 2014 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on December 2, 1926 in George West, TX. He retired as a principal from Randolph Field Elementary School. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Paul Chandler & Grace Byrne Chandler.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cheryl Chandler; son, Randy Chandler of Nashville, TN; daughter, Sandy Luciano & her husband Victor of Webster, TX; 4 granddaughters; 1 grandson; 1 great granddaughter.
Visitation will be 11:00 am, Friday, August 29, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel (1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218) with the Funeral Service to follow at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
