J.C. Wilson Jr., born on January 16, 1924 in Johnson City, Texas, went to Waltz again with Mavis on September 4, 2015 at the age of 91. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mavis Wilson, daughters; Carolyn Doss, Patricia Wilson, and brothers; George and Wesley. He is survived by his daughters, Kathy Wilson, Lorraine Edwards and spouse, Ed, grandchildren; Ben (Samantha), Jacob, Virginia (Al), Travis, Julie (Peter), Gordon and Clayton, great-grandchildren; Devin and Alex. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Ave. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Poole Cemetery aka Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 24380 FM 149 at 1:00 p.m. in Richards, Texas.
