Jay joins his uncle in heaven, Felix Garcia, Jr. He also joins his great grandparents; Maria and Benito Garcia, and Ramon and Janie Rangel.
He is survived by his parents, Noah and Natalie Rangel; sister, Avry Rangel; maternal grandparents,
Felix and Maria Garcia; paternal grandparents, Rene and Maribel Rangel and his dear cousins, Marcos, Samuel, Patrick, Felix Richard, Israel, Isaiah, Jacob, Delaiah, Jonathan, Adrian, and Davina and his aunts; Cristina Garcia, Sabina Garcia, and Stacie Rangel.
Jay was a very joyful child. He was always the first to invite and introduce new friends. He loved to make people laugh by acting silly and dancing. He enjoyed karate, playing baseball, basketball, and football, and was very proud of his team, Texas Elite, for winning the Pony World Series this year.

A visitation for Jay will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 PM. A Celebration of life will occur Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 12:00 PM-4:00 PM at Dojo Karate Academy, 353 Moursund Blvd, 78221
