SMSGT James T. Ward, born October 23, 1941, entered into rest on September 11, 2011 at age 69. SMSGT Ward served in the United States Air Force for 24 years. Jim is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pat; mother, Irma Jean Ward; brother, Thomas Ward; sister, Debra Conwill; son, Michael Ward; daughter, Donna Ward; and grandchildren, James and Joshua Ward. He is preceded in death by his father, Carlton Ward. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 18th at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on 6321 Bandera Rd. The memorial service for Jim will be held on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 10:45 a.m. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors rendered by the United States Air Force.
