Jack was truly a ‘people person’. He retired from Sears and Roebuck after 27 years as a merchandise manager, and later buyer. He loved to laugh and make others around him laugh as well. While living his final months at Heritage Place in Boerne, he loved to sing when the piano was played
at special events. Jack loved to fish, especially with his brother Joe. They had many great times at the ‘Collum Cabin’ on lake Texoma. He also loved to work with his hands, whether in his shop, or his yard.
While living some 23 years in Burnet, he polished his people skills in a volunteer position with the Library Thrift Store.
Always an avid Spurs fan, Jack just wanted to see them NBA champs one more time, but this was not to be. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
