Isabel Prado Torres

Isabel was born on January 12, 1963 to Samuel F. Sr. and Antonia Prado. She attended Loma Park Elementary, Truman Middle School and Memorial High School. She continued her education and graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University. She worked in the medical field as a Physical Therapy Radiology Transcriptionist. She had been working for Baptist M&S Imaging for 25 years at the time of her passing. In her youth, she volunteered in education and work programs.

Isabel is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel F. Sr. and Antonia Prado.

Isabel is survived by her husband Ronald F. Torres; Son Erik V. Torres; Daughter Samantha E. Torres; Sisters Dolores Prado, Virginia Lopez, Lupe Favela and her husband Robert. Brothers Santos Prado along with Samuel F. Prado and his wife Ruth .

Pallbearers will be Erik Torres, James Lopez, Jason Prado, Anthony Prado, Chris Prado, Christopher Anthony Prado. Honorary pallbearers will be Samantha E. Torres and Rory Kendric Torres.

A visitation for Isabel will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. A memorial service will occur Monday, September 16, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 10703 Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78230. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 10703 Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78230. Services will conclude after Mass.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society. The family of Isabel wishes to extend our sincere thanks to The START Center, Methodist Hospital and all the personnel involved with her care. We will never be able to thank you enough.
