Irene Francis Lindig passed away on October 10, 2022 at the age of 71 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on November 9, 1950 in Saginaw, MI to Charles Wayne and Laquita Rose Hathaway.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Ronnie Lindig; sons: David Wayne Lindig (Sara), Clinton Ray Lindig; sister: Margaret White; numerous family members and friends.
Irene was kind, loving social butterfly that never met a stranger. She was a graduate of Southwest High School Class of 69’. She married the love of her life Ronnie Lindig on October 3, 1970 where they were married for 52 years. She ran Aunt Rene’s Daycare for 20 plus years where she helped raised many little ones. She was a member of several organizations; she taught Boy Scout Leadership training, a Member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, a Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post #8397, and the San Antonio RSES Auxiliary for over 25 years. Irene loved to cook, sew, and quilt. She loved to fish, hunt and travel to the beach. Irene was a loving wife, mother and sister who will be greatly missed.
