Hortencia L. Gutierrez

Hortencia L. Gutierrez, age 92, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021. She was was born in San Antonio on October 3, 1929 to Perciliano Luna and Maria Canales. She was married to Ismael Gutierrez for 34 loving years. Hortencia had a career in CNA and loved to read and would spend hours reading.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ismael Gutierrez.

She is survived by her daughters; Linda Gutierrez, Irene G. Thogmartin (Mark), Tomasita Reaves, Anna Perusquia (Manuel), Victoria Jack (James), Rosario Landeros (George), Helen Boyd (James), Eloisa Schlaff (Gene), Margaret Diaz (Fidel), Corrina Enriquez (Pete), Sandra Gutierrez; sons Ismael Gutierrez Jr., Alejandro Gutierrez, Abel Gutierrez, Perciliano Gutierrez (Irma), Rudolfo Gutierrez; 33 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren, and 29 great-great grandchildren.

A visitation for Hortencia will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A prayer service will occur at 7:00 PM. We will be departing in procession from Trevino Funeral Home on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 8:45 AM. An interment will occur at 9:30 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
