Sending my sincerest condolences to his family. It pains me that I just found out about his passing. This gentleman was my 6th grade teacher and set an exemplary example of what teachers should be. He was passionate about making sure his students learned about the lessons in textbooks but also in life. I remember the walks we took after lunch everyday, the trip to dairy queen where he treated our class to a meal, his stories about him growing up and his family. Best memory of all is when he beat everyone in my class in a race on the last day of school. To see the haha look on his face as he dusted everyone was priceless. RIP Mr. Williams and know you had such an impact while here on earth. 

Mr. Williams was my 6th grade teacher at Gardendale Elementary in the 70's and was a great caring down to earth person. You will always be remembered 💖  May you RIP 🙏 and the perpetual light shine upon you 🙏. 

Mr. Williams was a beautiful person. He wasn't my 6th grade teacher but made me feel like I was one of his students. As I got older, I was privileged to work along side him as a classroom assistant. My memory of him was that I was 18 years old and employed at Gardendale Elem., one day " I was walking the hallway and he stopped me and said to me "to get to your classroom young lady", I  said,  "I work here", you could see he was embarrassed.  He was an amazing man.  May he rest in eternal peace. 🙏 

My condolences to the Williams Family from the Garza family. . He was a good teacher. He taught my older siblings in the 70’s. I was his student in the 80’s and he was a good history teacher. Rest In Peace 🙏🏼 

I was so blessed to have worked with Henry for many years at Gardendale Elementary. He was a great mentor and  beloved friend.  He loved his job!!!

Henry was a wonderful role model to us all.

Today my adored uncle's physical body will return unto the place of which all of these bodies must pass, not to be witnessed again, but his spirit and memories he left will forever remain in my mind and heart. Til we meet again uncle. Farewell for now.

Henry was always supportive of his students.

Henry was a wonderful, dedicated colleague. He was a true example of a gentleman. 

My condolences to the William’s family on your list. Your husband was a very good educator when I was at John F. Kennedy High School. He was a teacher that made make look to the future and make a plan to be successful in life. Thank Mr. William.  

To my  beloved Uncle Henry I will miss you but never forget you. I will cherish the memories we shared together. ❤ your niece Nollie. William,Nollie,Kelly and Kaleb.

It was always exciting when Uncles HL and Joe come to visit us! They were so cool going to college.  And up to something and doing complete turn about when they married and started having kids! They love their kids and nieces and nephews. You never think these days will happen.  God keep Debbie and his beautiful children  safe and comforted. 

My Uncle H L was the coolest uncle and always had good advice for me. Will be missed but never forgotten. Prayers to the family for comfort and strength in this dark hour. RIH Uncle H L❤.  Love you family❤

I will always remember the greatest horse ride we had together as young boys and told our mother the truth about that horse ride twenty years later.   Love you, your brother Joe.

Henry was the gentlest of men, with a great sense of humor and a kind word for everyone he met. His dedication to his students set an example for all of us who worked alongside him. Henry, thank you for your friendship over the many years. May you rest in eternal peace.

Great man. Great friend. Heaven is a better place now. There will be the best BBQ around in heaven now. Gonna miss you partner. Gonna listen to some Brubeck today and think of you. Peace brother.

Mr. Williams , definitely one of the best teachers I had at Gardendale Elementary. He was such a cool calm soul. He was always so polite and respectful, carried himself with such poise. 
Rest in heaven Mr. Williams , thank you for being the teacher/mentor you were not only to me but to many! 

My sincere condolences to the Williams family and close colleagues of the teaching community.  He was an excellent teacher who went above and beyond to educate his students.  He taught my older brothers in the late 70’s, then myself in the early 80’s.  I recall his excellent style, straight posture and smooth steps as he walked the halls and into his classroom. I’m truly honored to have been taught by him. Rest in eternal heaven Mr. Williams.

Mannnn this was the greatest teacher/Mann ever...I couldn't have asked for the best six grade teacher to end elementary with.. You will forever be missed mr.williams...I remember you dressed all nice with your hats and your cool yellow truck....r.i.p Mr Williams ..

RIH Uncle HL !  Sending prayers and love to Aunt, and  cousins!  He always invited us over. He made the biggest and best burgers!  Our Dad (Punkin), his sisters, brothers and parents will be ready to welcome you Home!  See ya later Uncle! ❤️❤️❤️

My Deepest Sympathy and Sincere Prayer for my Aunt, Cousins and the entire family. The last time I was visiting my brother in SA, he took me over to visit Uncle HL (he fixed us burgers). I also remember when he use to stop by to see my Dad (deceased) when he would be in Dallas years ago. I thank God for his life, the memories and his commitment to Education for children. Rev.
