Henry G Castañeda

Henry G. Castañeda born July 28, 1933 passed away to be with our Lord on June 12, 2021 at the age of 87. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years Lupe, parents, Luz and Macaria, siblings Luche and Nena. He is survived by his children, Henry Jr. (Teresa), Celia (Mark Kiser), Robert (Patricia), Steve (Sophie); grandchildren, Anthony (Kathy), Marcus, Raymond Botello (Elizabeth), Rachel (Cody), Robert, Natasha, Zachary, Veronica, and Stevie Rae; great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kaleb, Abigail, James and Arianna; and numerous nephews and nieces. He proudly served in the Navy and Naval Reserves for 28 years. He loved taking pictures and visiting with family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Juniper Village for the love and care they provided him.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. On Friday, July 23, 2021, Mass of Resurrection to be held at 10:00a.m at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Reception will be held at St. Paul Catholic School cafeteria, all are invited.
