Guadalupe Trevino Suarez

Guadalupe Trevino Suarez, born October 11, 1920 in Kyle, Texas went into the loving arms of the Lord on Friday, October 25, 2013, at the blessed age of 93. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Willie N. Suarez; daughters, Gloria Sylvia and Lana Marie Suarez; parents Augustin and Pabla Trevino; stepmother, Maria Trevino; and sister, Anastacia Ortiz. She is survived by her children Lupe T. Natal (Florentino), Joe T Suarez, Gloria S. Alvarez. Olga T. Suarez; siblings Agustine C. Trevino, Richard Trevino, Aurora T. Rodriguez; as well as 21 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildre,and great-great grandchildren. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She will be remembered for her home cooking and loving ways. She was a hard worker and loved working in her yard and tending to her plants. She will be greatly missed and will live in the hearts of all her family and friends. The family would like to give thanks to the personnel of Odyssey Healthcare of San Antonio with special thanks to Ellen Cross-Parker, Chaplain Ed Tello, Maria Maher, and Mr. Riley, the nurses of Crisis Care, Meals on Wheels and all of their volunteers, and all the prayer warriors for their special prayers, thoughts and caring support. The family will accept friends and family at 4:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. to celebrate a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
