Guadalupe Vivian Delgado, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, entered rest on January 28, 2013 at the age of 79. A native of San Antonio, she was born to Manuel and Guadalupe Vela on September 19, 1933. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Delgado. She is survived by her loving husband Rudy S. Delgado; their children: David R. Delgado and wife Lynn, Susan D. Watts and husband Richard, Lawrence A. Delgado, Rudy Delgado, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Charles W. Vela, Ruben F. Ruiz; sister, Lydia Ruiz Gomez and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, February 7, 2013 also at the funeral home. Interment will follow Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
