George was born on February 6, 1959 to his loving parents George Ybarra Sr. and Beatrice Calvillo. He was born in San Antonio, Texas.
He touched so many lives with his love of life and his dedication to his family by his many acts of love and his sincerity to serve them with kindness.
George was an avid graphic and art designer. He traveled abroad to many different countries working mostly with the Latino advertising agencies. George joined Sosa, Bromley, Aguilar, and Associates in 1991 through 2005. He then joined FPO and remained with them until 2010. He was a winner of multiple local and Regional Addy Awards. One year taking the Best of Show in Hispanic advertising. He then left and worked for Toyota (Vutex) and completed small assembly for them until 2020, until he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December 2019.
He was soft spoken person who spoke his mind with conviction and always had a beautiful smile, even when he was feeling unwell.
George was preceded in death by his youngest sister, Josephine Ybarra.
Surviving family include his loving wife Elizabeth, his parents, George and Beatrice, siblings Jacob, Rita, James, Gabriel (Guadalupe), Betty Ann, his son James Ryan, and stepdaughters Melissa Renfro(Devan), Christina Lopez. He had 4 beautiful grandchildren, and several nieces.
May the angels lead you into paradise: may the martyrs receive you at your coming and lead you into the holy city, Jerusalem. May the choir of angels receive you and with Lazarus, who once was poor, may you have everlasting rest.
