Professional boxer George Albert Ramos went to be with the Lord on June 20, 2019. He began his amateur boxing career at the age of 11. Unfortunately, his professional boxing career was cut short at the early age of 18.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, George A. Ramos, Sr.
George is survived by his parents, Jessica and George Ramos, Jr.; grandparents, Natalie and Johnny Laque, Lupe Salinas, and Anna Ramos; brother and sisters, Janelle Roy Lynn Ramos, Romylo Q. Ramos, and Alexa Dames; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
George will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the boxing community.
Visitation will begin 5:00 pm Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N. Main Ave. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:15 am Friday, June 28, 2019 for a 10:00 am Mass at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church, 7990 W. Military Dr. Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Rd. 78226.
