George was born in San Antonio to Lauro and Bessie on. April 4, 1954. He married Lynne on September 24, 2024. He worked at the Bexar County Sheriff's Department for four years, then joined the San Antonio Police Department, where he served until his retirement in 2017.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Lauro and Bessie; his siblings, Frank, Albert, Minnie, and Bill; and his beloved dogs, Jason and Tyler. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lynne, his sister, Rose, as well as his many nieces and nephews who affectionately called him “Tio George.” George was loved by family and friends, who will fondly remember his sense of humor and unforgettable one-liners.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 25 at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218.
