Fred H. Lambert, age 85, passed away on April 15, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on June 21, 1928 in Leroy, Texas to Roy and Rudelle Lambert. Fred joined the Army Air Corp in October of 1946 and spent 27 years as a medical lab technician. He met Emily (Becky) Caldbeck in Cheyenne, Wyoming and got married on September 1, 1949. They spent 27 years in the Air Force, traveling from Alabama, Oklahoma, Japan, Philippines and settled in San Antonio. His hobbies included painting and photography. During his lifetime he enjoyed fishing, camping and weekend retreats in Bandera. Fred is survived by his wife of 64 years Emily Lambert; children, Stephen and wife Mary, Michael and wife Marsha, David and wife Myra; sister, Catherine Ann Lambert; grandchildren, Sarah Torres, James Lambert and wife Misty, Jennifer Lambert ; great- grandchildren, James , Grace, Charlotte, Brittany, Justin, Karly, Madoline, Nikki; and beloved dog Bubba. A memorial service will be held in Fred’s honor on Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Trinity United Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m.
